June was a pretty hectic month for me–I just finished my last final a little over a week ago, and just a day later started my driver’s ed class where I am now responsible for not crashing into everyone on the road. It’s quite daunting, but I think I’m getting the hang of the whole driving thing. I’ve been a little absent here on the blog, but I have managed to get through quite a few books!
The Handmaid’s Tale by Margaret Atwood
TBR FOR JULY
The Reptile Room by Lemony Snicket
Caraval by Stephanie Garber
Legendary by Stephanie Garber
Furyborn by Claire LeGrand
Lifel1k3 by Jay Kristoff
June wasn’t a great blogging month for me since I was finishing school and only got one post out:
For July I really want to try and get out more quality content like reviews since I’ve kind of just been doing tags recently, lol.
MOVIES AND TV SHOWS
I actually watched a lot of movies and a few TV shows this month, at least a lot more than I normally do.
Earlier in the month I just had the Murder on the Orient Express playing on repeat, but more recently I’ve been listening to Panic’s new album. It’s not my favorite, but there are a few songs that I really like:
King of the Clouds
Dying in LA
Oh and also Never Say No and all the waltz pieces from the Penny Dreadful soundtrack are really beautiful.
MEMORIES AND MUSINGS
So this was the month that I discovered audiobooks–or actually started tolerating them. I used to despise them and couldn’t get through five minutes of one, but the narrators of King’s Cage are really good, and now I can read while I do boring things like walk/exercise and clean! So that’s really great. I’m also (kind of) DRIVING NOW which initially scared the crap out me but I’m slowly getting used to it. For next month I definitely want to try and blog more and hopefully get some more reviews up, and also try to write more.
SO THERE WAS MY JUNE—IT’S CRAZY THAT THE YEAR IS ALREADY HALFWAY OVER! HOW WAS YOUR MONTH? WHAT’S THE BEST BOOK YOU READ? WORST? TELL ME IN THE COMMENTS BELOW!
